I apologize that it has been quiet lately...at least on the blogging front. Behind the scenes it has been craziness! Somehow my baby turned 2 this weekend...really, where did the time go? Before the rush of sneak peeks, holiday posts and the like, I wanted to take a moment and showcase a few okay a lot of my favorite images from her 2 year session.
Another reason I wanted to show these was to give you some examples of how to incorporate color, pattern and your child's favorite things into the session. Our girl loves popcorn and her favorite toy is her "people"--the generic name given to her character figures. I wanted to remember her "loves" at this age and brought them along to the session. Anything can be a part of a session, let your imagination wander!
She is also showcasing a few different crocheted hats and flowers from Addison Saige Designs. I love hats in general and these are no exception! Plus, I figure...while she lets me put a hat on her I might as well do it--soon enough she will protest I'm sure! Enjoy...and Happy Birthday to my big girl!!!

These pictures are SO beautiful. My little girl turned 2 last week also, but her portrait session wasn't as successful. I'll blame it on me being 3 weeks from my due date. It's a special and busy time.
