Come on...you know you do...we all do!  Now there is a way to have it!  Introducing the Session Box, Session Album, and Mounted Album.  I know, they don't have fancy names...I'm all out of creative juice from holiday cards and sessions. 

Session Box--Fabulous product, featuring one bordered 5x7 print from each of your final images!  This box is custom designed by you and me, then printed on a silk and the box is handmade to hold your most cherished images.  Many design options and a complete custom product just for you.  The Session Box has been a hit with the latest client sessions.

  

Session Album--A wonderful way to preserve and display your entire session!  This black album has scrapbook style pages with a bordered 5x7 print mounted to each page.  The album holds 30 prints and the rest are given to you loose.  Packaged in a satin-lined box, this album is sure to be a keepsake!

 

Mounted Album--So adorable, yet another custom product made just for you!  Two sizes available 5x5 and 8x8, covered in a textured white fabric, with thick board pages.  The print is adhered to the page in a beautiful story-telling fashion.  The album has 30 pages and each image is bordered.

These adorable blue-eyed ones sure gave me a run for my money, but they were a blast to photograph!  Whirlwind sessions like this are always so great because when I come home and look through the images I'm amazed at what I was able to capture. I hope mom and dad are just as amazed and happy also!  This was their first session with me and I so look forward to more.  Enjoy...

This brother and sister are two of the silliest kids I know--they make me laugh all the time!  I have known this family for quite a while.  In fact, they were my very first clients years ago--and literally it was my first session, I think little brother was barely walking!  Quite honestly, that first session practically started my business.  I was older sister's early preschool teacher and mom asked if I would take some pictures of them at the park (I photographed the kids in class all the time during the day)...the rest is history!  I have now been photographing them every year since then and I think this was the best session yet.  Mom is a good friend of mine and I always look forward to photographing her family.

 

[ can you say BRRRRRR!?!? ]

These kids were troopers--it was a whopping 38 degrees when we started this session!  Yes, you read right, 38 degrees, though with the wind it felt more like 34.  FREEZING!  Despite the cold we made it happen.  Mom of these two is one of my best friends and we met years ago when we taught early preschool together.  I actually photographed her wedding--it was my first "official" one...and now I have found my niche with children's photography and don't do weddings anymore--my how time flies!  I used to photograph her children often, but time got the better of us and it has been a whole year.  By the way...LOVE the outfits--take note of the layers and color, fun!

 

 

[ 1 year old ]

This little guy has grown so much since I have seen him last--which was at his newborn session last fall!  He was such a trooper during this session--it was cold and windy but we managed to get some smiles out of him.  I love a baby that can stand and walk, but is a little unsteady--I don't have to worry about them running away too fast.  B's mom is absolutely one of the sweetest people I know.  For example, I met her last fall when she called me for a list minute pregnancy session.  Ava was only 3 weeks old and I wasn't even working yet but since this mom was due any day I wanted to fit her in.  She was so thankful that she brought me a bouquet of flowers to the session--how is that for sweet!?!?  We managed to do her pregnancy session and then soon after, the newborn session, all in my sleep-deprived state of having a newborn. I must have pulled it off though because here we are again!  Enjoy this sneak peek...

[ Nutmeg--FREE ]

This is a completely personal post--nothing to do with photography or my business.  And the pictures are just quick snapshots, and not very good ones either!  Anyway, unfortunately we have to find a new home for one of our cats.  I hate to have to find him a new home but after trying all possible solutions we have figured out that he needs to be the only cat in the home.  We have two other cats (his mom and dad) and as much as he plays with and cuddles with them, he has some behavior issues (which often involve competitive litter box problems).  We are looking for a good home and he is free.  He MUST be the only cat in the house and he MUST be an indoor cat, as his front paws are declawed.  Dogs are okay as long as they are okay with cats.  We have a dachshund and Nutmeg often gets chased but retreats through the cat-door to the basement where the dog can't go.  Ideally though he should be the only pet in the home.

He is very playful and independent, not necessarily a "lap" cat or up for much cuddling.  He loves playing with string or anything he can bat around with his paws.  Pretty much he is permanent "kitten".  Long story short he was born by c-section (crazy I know!) and he was stillborn--he then started breathing a 1/2 hour later and has been alive ever since...though we wonder about some brain damage--thus the permanent energy and kitten-behavior.  He is neutered, declawed and current on all shots. 

If you are a client or someone I know personally then you can pick him up.  For anyone else, we require that he be dropped off to ensure he is going to a good and loving home.

Here is the rest of sweet baby C's family.  I have photographed all three girls a few times before but boy have they all grown in the last year!  Their home/property was a perfect place for a session--great grounds and they even had 2 old trucks!  Enjoy this little peek...
